When it comes to raising funds to help the infants and families of LBWDC, the only limit is your imagination. Lots of great ideas have come from people n our community.
OK, so maybe you’re not the high-powered parent who heads the school auction committee, or you’re not the hooked-up guy or girl who can get a celebrity to appear at your black-tie fundraiser or donate a signed raffle prize to raise extra cash at the door.
And you’re not someone working fulltime as a trained, experienced non-profit professional. So, when it comes to helping LBWDC, you don’t think you can do much more than write a check for a few bucks and send a good thought. You’re wrong! You have the power to organize your friends, acquaintances and family into carrying out a simple collection drive, neighborhood walk or a school project. It doesn’t take a million bucks or a year of your life spent organizing to make a difference. All it takes is some planning and some passion.

Host a birthday party, reception, toy drive, diaper drive or even a baby shower for our infants. Ask the attendees to bring donations instead of gifts for you.
Gather up a group of friends, your family or a bunch of your coworkers and plan and implement a project for the center. The center needs a storage unit for outside toys. We are also in desperate need for a group to spearhead the design and placement of an infant playground. We also have great ideas for Boy and Girls Scout Badges and Award projects, as well as community service projects.
